Craft Stalls

Our Sewing & Craft group meets at Dapto Showground every Friday in the Pavilion (entry is via the Mulda Street entrance) from 9.00am to 12 noon.  You can purchase anything you see, and at the same time take a look at what our ladies get up to in our sewing group.  Everyone is welcome and we also take eftpos and cash at every stall we have.  Hope to see you at one of our stalls.

Our shop at Warilla Grove has now closed after being open seven days a week for the month of May.  We had plenty of handmade items; including aprons, hand knitted kiddies jumpers to heat bags, pickles and jams, and of course our famous kitchen towels, plus so much more.  We even had a large selection of vintage and costume jewellery, so there was something for everyone.

By the end of our time, we had managed to raise over $18,000, which will now be put towards our future fundraising efforts.  Our sincerest thanks must go to our volunteers who manned the shop, day in and day out, and of course the community for their wonderful support.  Hopefully we can do it again next year, so are looking forward to seeing you all then.

Bunnings at Kembla Grange recently invited us to their Father’s Day event, which was held on Thursday 4 September from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.  We had a selection of our items for sale along with two very large jars full of chocolates and lollies, which formed our guessing competition.

Our next stall at Corrimal Park Mall will be on Wednesday 17 September from 9.00am to 3.00pm.  Pop in and say hello to our lovely volunteers and have a look at the array of goodies that will be available.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our many stalls.  Monies raised from these stalls goes towards helping cancer patients right here in the Illawarra.
