Craft Stalls
Our Sewing & Craft group meets at Dapto Showground every Friday in the Pavilion (entry is via the Mulda Street entrance) from 9.00am to 12 noon. You can purchase anything you see, and at the same time take a look at what our ladies get up to in our sewing group. Everyone is welcome and we also take eftpos and cash at every stall we have. Hope to see you at one of our stalls.
Our shop at Warilla Grove has now closed after being open seven days a week for the month of May. We had plenty of handmade items; including aprons, hand knitted kiddies jumpers to heat bags, pickles and jams, and of course our famous kitchen towels, plus so much more. We even had a large selection of vintage and costume jewellery, so there was something for everyone.
By the end of our time, we had managed to raise over $18,000, which will now be put towards our future fundraising efforts. Our sincerest thanks must go to our volunteers who manned the shop, day in and day out, and of course the community for their wonderful support. Hopefully we can do it again next year, so are looking forward to seeing you all then.
Since our shop has closed we recently returned to Corrimal Park Mall and made over $1,200 on the day.
Bunnings at Kembla Grange have invited us back again and we will be there on Saturday 12 July and Sunday 24 August. As well as all of our handmade goodies we will also have a selection of freshly baked cakes, slices, muffins and biscuits; some of them even being gluten free.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support our many stalls. Monies raised from these stalls goes towards helping cancer patients right here in the Illawarra.
