Craft Stalls

Our Sewing & Craft group meets at Dapto Showground every Friday in the pavilion (entry is via the Mulda Street entrance) from 9.00am to 12.00pm.  You can purchase anything you see, and at the same time take a look at what our ladies get up to in our sewing group.  Everyone is welcome and we also take eftpos and cash at every stall we have.  Our group will be having a well-earned rest after a very big year (see below what we still have to offer for 2025) and will return on Friday 6 February 2026.

We had a massive weekend at Bunnings Kembla Grange on 6 & 7 December and made over $2,700. Thanks to our volunteers who manned the stall.  Without your dedication and time we would not have been as successful as we were.  We already have a couple of stalls booked in for January 2026 (4th & 11th), so we hope to see you soon.

On Friday 12 December we will be holding our massive Christmas Market in the pavilion at the Showground from 10.00am to 2.00pm.  We will have everything from Christmas decorations, crafts, gift baskets, pickles, plants, baked good, a bargain table and a fabulous raffle (drawn on the day).  Come on down and get your Christmas shopping done – Eftpos and cash available.

Then on Saturday 13 December we will be back out at Shellharbour Marina from 9.00am to 3.00pm, outside Woolworths (near the bus stop).

On Sunday 14 December you will find us at the Groundz Christmas Market in Dapto Showground from 10.00am to 2.00pm, just in case you haven’t finished that shopping.

Once we have finished all our stalls for the year, then we move on to gift wrapping in the shopping centres, where we do have a small selection of our items for sale at the same time (unfortunately not at Figtree):

  • Dapto Mall from Wednesday 17/12 to Wednesday 24/12 from 10.00am to 4.00pm
  • Warrawong Plaza from Wednesday 17/12 to Wednesday 24/12 from 10.00am to 4.00pm
  • Figtree Grove from Thursday 18/12 to Wednesday 24/12 from 10.00am to 4.00pm

Go and purchase all your presents and then come on over and see one of our lovely wrappers, who will make your present look amazing.  All we ask is for a gold coin donation for each gift that we wrap.  Then the job is done and you can take it home and place it under your tree and no one will know what you have purchased.

We have had a lovely young family contact us from St James Crescent, Dapto to let us know about their amazing Christmas light show, which is actually set to music, along with a number of their neighbours who have also added to this magnificent display.  So, if you’re looking for some brilliant Christmas lights to take the kids or grandkids to, then why not drive on around.  People are encouraged to park and walk through to take in the atmosphere.  This family also has displayed on their front fence a lovely sign to support the Illawarra Cancer Carers where you can scan the QR code and make a donation to our group.  A couple of our volunteers will be there on 19 & 20 December handing out our handmade bon bons and spreading the Christmas cheer.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our many stalls.  Monies raised from these stalls goes towards helping cancer patients right here in the Illawarra.
